The totality will be four minutes, which is pretty long This eclipse will take place on the African continent, and the meteorological conditions will be favorable.

In Belgium

All the eclipses that were just mentioned will be visible in other countries than Belgium. The next total solar eclipse in Belgium will be on September 23rd 2090. It will be a special one since we will be able to watch a Belgian Sunset eclipsed ! Belgium will know two very interesting eclipses : one on May 25th 2142 where the whole of Belgium will be a totality zone. The other one on June 14th 2152 will have the same conditions. Fortunately, it will be possible to observe partial eclipses in 2003, 2005 and 2006.
